Box 190 Locust NC 28097 Zoning Complaints All complaints must be provided in writing on this complaint form. If you have a zoning complaint, please complete section 3 of this form, give the street address of the violation, the property owner and/or tenant (if known), and a written description of the violation. Also, print the date and time of the violation under the description. You may print this form and sign it in the appropriate area and either mail or hand deliver to Locust City Hall, or you can scan the signed form and email to Scott Efird at sefird@locustnc.com. The mailing address for Locust City Hall is PO Box 190, Locust, NC 28097. The street address for hand delivery is 186 Ray Kennedy Drive, Locust, NC 28097. Please address all correspondence regarding zoning violations to Scott Efird.  Zoning Complaint Form Zoning Permits The City of Locust believes in protecting the rights of property owners, promoting quality of life, and preserving the aesthetic values of the City. The Zoning Ordinance is a tool that we use to accomplish this. Zoning and Sign Permits are needed to be sure that citizens are in compliance with the ordinance. Zoning Permit Instructions Please fill out the name, address, and telephone number of the Owner or Contractor, the purpose and location that pertains to the permit, and put your signature beside Applicant Signature. The date and other information will be filled in by the Zoning Administrator. Please bring the permit to the City of Locust Town Hall along with a map of the property, and any improvements that will be made. Payable after the Zoning Administrator has studied your application, and deems it in compliance with the Zoning Ordinance. |
