Welcome to Locust!

"From a recreated business district after expansion of the road to town, to luxurious communities, recreational opportunities and a beautiful countryside, Locust offers up a little something for everyone. Down-home merchants and progressive industries are wedded in Locust and the "tree" continues to grow."
- Stanly News & Press, 2008

Pedestrian Study Survey

The City of Locust asks all residents to please take a look at the Pedestrian Study Survey and give your input into the existing conditions and desired future plans of the sidewalk network throughout our community. The City is working with McGill and Associates to develop a comprehensive, long-term plan for pedestrian connectivity through Locust. Community input is one of the first and most important stages of this project.

Please complete the survey and return to Mandy Vari at City Hall. They may be e-mailed (mvari@locustnc.com), mailed (P.O. Box 190 Locust, NC 28097) or dropped off at City Hall (161 Ray Kennedy Drive in Town Center). We appreciate your comments and your time!
